For a while now I have been running Windows XP within the Mac OS using Parallels (www.parallels.com). This has been great because I can benefit from Mac and Windows within one machine.
Today that all seems to have changed.
It's not clear to me how this happened, but somehow the virtual machine that I had created using Parallels' software has disappeared or become unusable. Since my installation of Windows XP and everything related to it was on that virtual machine, I've lost it all (except whatever I may have backed up on my Mirra server at home....we'll see what's there when I can take the time to check it out.
Meanwhile, I'm going to see if I can get Daylite to work on the Mac side of things. My Address Book is sync'ed to Plaxo.com, which in turn is sync'ed with all my other PCs. So if I can get Daylite to use the data in my Address book (I have Daylite sync'ing with Mac's Address Book as I write this), and then get Daylite to sync with my Palm Treo 700p, I'll be back in business and without the need for daily use of Windows XP in the first place.
Stay tuned!
